I am currently sitting in front of my computer, scared witless. Any moment now I am going to be killed.

Today a friend of mine told me a story.

His aunt had taken care of him since he was a small boy, and she told him last night about how his parents died. He did a very fair imitation of her (I knew them both pretty well):

“They were doing mission work in some nasty little south american country when a man burst into the mission hospital one night, terrified out of his mind. He told them that his sister had been killed by a Muerto blanco, and that he was certain that it was coming for him next. What is a Muerto blanco? Apparently it was some sort of bogey-man, something like that dumb chupacabra or whatever. They called it the White Death or the White Girl, because it was the soul of someone who hated life so much that they came back in their shrouds to kill those who told of them.

The man had been told about the vengeful spirit by his sister hours before her death. It was a girl with dead, black eyes that wept bile. The thing moved without ever actually moving its legs, and it stalked its victims back to their homes. Now, if you weren’t already aware that this thing was following you, once it got back to your house, it would start knocking on your door…

* Once for you skin, which she’ll use to patch her own decaying flesh.
* Twice for your muscle, which she’ll gnash her teeth on between victims.
* Thrice for your bones, which she’ll make knives to pick her teeth and kill her victims.
* Four times for your heart, which she’ll wear around her neck.
* Five times for your teeth, which she’ll polish and keep in a box.

Ok, so the Zombie/Werewolf/Vampire/Whatever Apocalypse just happened. Now, you aren't infected, or surrounded, or helpless yet. Your town is still safe for now. It's only just started. What will you do?

I would grab a weapon, gather supplies, and run out into an area as far away from civilization as possible. I would then try to start some kind of farm, and give myself a renewable food supply through it.
I wouldn't rely on Electricity, which would go soon enough, so i'd just keep it as my stronghold. I know basic construction, so i'd make myself a simple house which could easily be defended if needed.

Hello Paranormal

I'm not exactly a normal guy. Since grade 8 I've had hallucinations and other such odd things. But last night almost made me shit bricks. I was lying in my bed trying to sleep but I kept hearing my name, I was tired so I thought I was just half awake. But it got louder and louder and louder until it kept me fully awake. I shot up in my bed and it stopped right away. I looked across my room and I thought I saw the outline of a very shaggy girl, like a homeless girl. I convinced myself it was just another creepy ass hallucination and lay back in bed. I closed my eyes and then BAM my pillow was hit full force by something, as if someone had punched the corner. I shot up in panic and fear and I saw her, just staring at me. She crouched down then jumped at me, almost immediately after she jumped she just disappeared. I tried to get back to sleep, but I was too paranoid. Then it happened again but this time it was 3 massive punches into my bed and then a big clunk on the floor. After that nothing happened.

This is my story.

I've always been the quiet kid, in primary school I used to observe the other kids have fun. Carefully watch every action and remember it. Only when I fully understood what constituted fun did I ever join in. Until grade 7 I was pretty popular and quite happy, though I always felt something empty in my life. Once grade 7 started things changed. I started to become alienated, finding comfort only when alone. I started to have intense dreams that would see future events. My first one I remember clear as day.

I dream t I was walking on a bridge at night and a girl was ahead of me. Then a car came and people kidnapped her. I ran then woke up. The next day the headline in the Newspaper was "Girl Kidnapped Near Bridge"

When grade 8 began, I thought I figured out my true goal in life. I had never understood why I existed, what my purpose was. But then I came to the realization that I'm here to help people, no matter what the cost. I went out of my way to help friends and family through bad times. Then this girl came along.
