1.Download Ubuntu here: http://brofi.st/u/http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download
2. Burn it to a disk and check the disk works
3. Boot windows and delete C:\Windows\system32 (Ubuntu installs a new one so it can run; make sure you don't delete system32 until you're sure you're going to install Ubuntu or you won't be able to get it back)
4. Install Ubuntu from the disk by putting it in the tray and rebooting (make sure you deleted system32 already, and that the CD-ROM drive is in the boot preferences list _BEFORE_ the first hard disk)
5. Reboot into Ubuntu or Windows!
