Can we have Emulator discussion?

Everyone seems to talk about VMWare but I seem to do fine with virtualbox for any VM I need, but "what I need" is probably short of what more badass people need, what exactly are the differences that mean the most to you?

http://brofi.st/u/http://marsbox.com/blog/reviews/vmware-vs-virtualbox/ here is a quick review, it actually says VBox does better in most of the tests I think, with VMWare being better with networking, and tbh the drag/drop files thing is pretty cool

Thoughts?

VBox is pretty nice for single user work.

VMWare becomes way better for full virtualisation (Server & ESXi being free).

I personnaly have more issue with VBox on some application (automation process where in vbox you have issue get focus or using the mouse virtually)

Which one would be better for emulating backtrack?

Firstly, emulators and VMs are not the same thing. You know that, right?

An emulator is like Qemu or BOCHS. A VM is like VirtualBox or VMWare.

Anyway, Qemu is the shit. It's more configurable.

I love Qemu.

Yeah I realized I used the wrong word after I tweeted, mean *Virtualization discussion not emulator.

Emu's are fine too though, I guess. Anything similar
