Infowars. You're welcome to draw your own conclusions but I see "H1N1 IS HARMFUL" stuff as almost yellow journalism, or from paranoia. Swine Flu itself is an over-publicized thing (compare how many people die from Swine Flu to people dying from normal Influenza), so it's not too surprising this gets written about.

I'm not any kind of medical expert but I wouldn't be surprised if "neurotoxin" could be a title applied to a lot of different relatively harmless things that do other things. For example, if you didn't already know what caffeine was, people could probably label it in almost the same way and make you think Mt. Dew is out to kill you. But then again, I'm not a professional, these are my assumptions.

Additionally, I can't think of a reason for someone (like the Government) to poison millions of people, especially when the components are available for inspection by someone like whoever wrote that article. Glenn Beck (in b4 most people stop reading here) was one person I've heard of talking about the dangers of the vacceine or should you trust your government to put shit in you, and then turning around and stating he wasn't going to tell whether he got it or not. Which could, imo, be two things: He wants to seed more fear of the government in his viewers (omg wat r da communists givin us 2 control us) without actually sacrificing his health (ie getting the shot), or he legitimately wants other people to not make their decisions based on what Glenn Beck does because it differs for each person. I'd like to believe the latter but..yeah...

My advice I guess would be that if you need it, get it, if it killed you we would have seen it by now. If you still don't trust it, fine, don't put anything in your body you don't trust- but I wouldn't recommend telling others the same. It's the god damn flu anyway, just stay away from sick people and wash your hands.

It is also interesting how kids take the flu shot every year yet still get sick from the flu. This shows you that the vaccine does not prevent but rather cause the sickness and other damage.

No you stupid fucking idiot. There is a direct correlation between taking the flu shot and then SUBSEQUENTLY getting the flu. It makes sense because a vaccine is nothing more than a weakened version of a virus used to induce your immune system to take anti-bodies.

You're exposed to, and consume more dangerous chemicals than are in a flu shot every day. People who get sick from flu shots probably actually got sick from the Flu Clinic they were at or a doctor's office. Those types of places which have poor hygiene practices cause something like $10,000,000,000 a year in just incidental staph infections, let alone other diseases.

Got the flu shot and still got sick? Probably because your exposure at said facility happened before your body could build the needed antibodies to combat the virus. Incubation of influenza happens for days before you actually get sick, that's when it spreads. Someone who's actually ill is less likely to spread the disease than someone who is healthy and incubating said infection.

Flu shots are not magic bullets. You can still get exposed after your body has developed a strategy from the weakened/inactive virus in the vaccine, but the point is that you'd be much LESS sick than if you didn't get it at all. This is the reason for a dual administration for H1N1 vaccines -- it gives your body a second chance to develop an immunity. More on that...

The flu shot actually mimics exposure to the people sick with said disease, be it H1N1 or whatever. My toddler has been exposed to people sick with H1N1, but probably hasn't developed it himself because since those people are sick, they're passing weakened versions of the virus around, allowing his normal immune system to come up with a strategy to fight the infection. This is why the WHO is now claiming that one flu shot is good enough in the case of pandemic flu. The shot should get you started, but since everyone is walking around with H1N1, it's the equivalent to a second immunization dose.

Yup. Very few people actually have cause to panic. People have heard the words "PREGNANT WOMEN AND CHILDREN" and completely lost it. As the father of a two year old with respiratory issues and the husband of a pregnant woman, there was a slightly higher risk for eventual death for something preventable, so it was something we had to do. Upon arriving at two of our state's vaccination clinics (the only way you can get it here), it was a scene from any zombie apocalypse movie.

Why? I started looking around the line and in traffic and I started seeing people I know -- people with healthy children and who weren't pregnant, or met any of the criteria for those at "high risk". They were there because everyone buys into fear in panic because of basic human anthropological needs.

We're not running for our lives from tigers on the savannas anymore, which is precisely the thing the human brain is programmed to do through natural selection. People who couldn't think fast enough got eaten by tigers.

Since our tiger escaping great grandparents passed on the genetic code for reactionary behavior, we all have it now. Fortunately, in the case of pandemic flu or worse, all those people will die, and people with actual functioning brains will be left.

Formaldehyde
Used in Paint, waterproofing cloth, explosives, treatment of warts and is used in almost every modern vaccine as a preservative. It should also be noted that Formaldehyde is used in building materials and is one of the most common household air pollutants.

Polysorbate 80
Is used in ice cream, but I'm sure the small amount used in a vaccine will surely sterilize you.

Neomycin
Antibiotic, used in creams, ointments and eye drops

Taurine is an ingredient in baby formula.

This list goes on, we are exposed to most if not all of these chemicals on a daily basis. This isn't a reason to not get the flu shot. Ask yourself do you want a flu shot and exposure to a minute amount of chemicals that you would take in anyways or do you want to feel like shit for a couple of weeks.

These vaccine's are not totally safe, even you guys are saying that it "shouldn't" cause any harm.

The fact is there is risk of harm, how big I don't know but it's there. Off course there is the getting fever because of anti-bodies thing, which should not pose any serious thread.

But the fact that there is a risk that these neurotoxins that you inject directly into you bloodstream bypassing any filtering by your body can damage your body to such a degree that you can perish is a risk worth considering.

If you look at the previous vaccination of the American people with a similar "epidemic" (Swine Flu, 1970's) more people died from the vaccine then from the virus. Not to mention the thousands that got partially and totally paralyzed, and I also think there would be a lot of people with illnesses from the vaccine that are not reported.

And this vaccine has not been tested properly and is not proven to work like they say it should, and resistant strains of the virus have already popped up across the globe.

I would take a vaccine against something like smallpox or some dreaded disease, but to take such a non-proven vaccine for a threat that's getting smaller and smaller, no thank you.

Not even to mention the billions made by the pharmaceutical industry on this.

Complete, utter, BS. I'd really like to see the numbers you think you're referring to. Did you know H1N1 isn't new? It was a popular deal in the 1970's. Something like 1 in 1000 of the inoculated got sick with a disease that ended up being something that just brought out flaws in certain beings genetically predispositioned to problems. Millions of people got vaccines then, if more died from the vaccines then than were OK, I think there might be more of a fuss than you let on to. Stop spreading FUD and get the fuck out of /int/.
