Japan pwns us all in terms of mega junk food:

"Apparently, McDonald’s Japan are so delighted with the success of their limited Mega Mac 4 burger Big Mac, that they’ve decided to extend the period of availability. Sales of the Mega Mac have more than doubled expected sales with 3.32 million sold in just 4 days. Chomp chomp!"

Apparently, the 350 yen ($2.89/£1.47) burgers have become so popular that the chain is being forced to limit sales to several dozen/several hundred a day, depending on the restaurant in question. Customers who have been refused a Mega Mac are presented with a coupon allowing them to buy one at a later time for the discounted price of 190 yen ($1.57/80p). They’ll have to get in line again though; queues are forming before opening time, and some restaurants claim to be selling out of the Mega Mac before noon. […]

Well, you’d get a taller burger, but you’d have to use chopsticks to support it. […]

I've bought these in Mexico, Costa Rica, BVI, and the Bahamas. They had them in the US until they got sued for promoting unhealthy eating and had to get rid of them along with the 'Bucket of Fries" they used to sell
